Whose Am I? is a well written, inspiring, and thought provoking novel that raises awareness of one of the most difficult challenges a Christian can face: sexual abstinence. As I read this novel, I felt Sharlee’s struggle. It kept me turning the pages to see if she made it through this challenge. Her struggle took me back to my teenage years as I thought about the manipulations, being set up into situations, the coaxing, and other pressures that many boys put on girls to have sex. Yet even though it was easy for me to view the male as the enemy when it came to holding onto my virginity, I was reminded of the actions of girls and the situations they get themselves into as well. No matter what age we are, I was reminded of the responsibility we have to let our actions speak as loudly as our words when we choose sexual abstinence. The author portrays the male character, Lukas, in a way that gives Sharlee some insight not only about him, but also about herself and her walk with God; reminding readers that Christianity is a process of continual growth and learning. Angela Whitehead’s first novel is impressive, and I highly recommend this work to people of all ages.Product details

Whose Am I? was an awesome and easy read. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters. The author did a fantastic job bringing the characters and story to life. The story line teaches a lesson that would benefit any Christian, especially our youth. I've recommended this book to several parents with soon-to-be teens. Can't wait for the sequel!
This book took me back to my high school days. I dont have a daughter but I remember being a teen girl caught in the middle of my feelings for my boyfriend and Gods higher calling for me. If you have a teen daughter..this is a MUST read!
This is such a great read. It really reinforces remaining pure and reinforces this with scriptures! It's great for teenagers growing up in this fast - paced world where everyone "is doing it."
Whose Am I? is a realistic and well-written book targeting female teenagers, but it also has a strong message for males and any other age group dealing with decisions regarding the opposite sex. This book also captures the importance of developing a nurturing home environment, as well as the tremendous value of cultivating trustworthy friendships with those who "have your back" during struggles with temptation and unexpected wavering faith. Angela Whitehead encourages and cautions, and that is exactly what her intended audience needs.
Great read. A positive image for young adults to see. Seems to me that there's a part two coming soon. I would love to see their relationship develop during there college years. Young people need to read this book. It's a good guide to assist them with peer pressure.
Every Young lady should read this. It makes you think and put things in perspective. Putting God first in your life helps you to make the right decision. Everyone has challenges but God helps your thru it. Well written, I couldn't put it down, wanted to know what will happen next.
This is a 5 star book. It should be given to those in high school and college to read. It appeals to the male and female alike that our bodies belongs to God and is the temple of the Holy Ghost. If the young person made a mistake and is no longer a virgin, they can be forgiven if they ask for it, and have a new beginning. God will not remember their falling, but will place it in the sea of forgetfulness. So worth reading!!!!
